Founder, Dog Walker, Pet Sitter
Hi, I’m Kiki, the proud owner of Misty’s Adventures, established Jan 2023.
Inspired by the loss of our late family dog, Misty the Border Collie, and encouragement from family and friends, this venture was brought to life.
I have worked an array of different jobs in the past yet never felt satisfied or like I belonged. Until I took the leap, quit my full time role, sold my car and delved deep into a world I know I have a purpose in.. animal care!
After not being able to fill the hole in my heart that Misty left behind, spending my days and hours with others’ beloved animals started to bring that light back into my life that dwindled when she passed. Now I don’t think I can ever go back (nor would I want to)!
As some of you may know, we now have two amazing young female dogs, Luna the blue merle Collie and Willow the cream Cockapoo. Both love to join me on our daily explores, which makes it all the more special to me. You can spot them all over our social platforms!
With each dog I walk and each pet I care for, I strive to bring joy, contentment and companionship to our furry friends, just as Misty brought to me! My passion and devotion to animals drives me to ensure every pet feels the love and attention they deserve.

Lucy
Dog walker
Lucy was the first to join the team at the end of February 2024 while her beautiful Lab Indy had already been a part of our pack for almost a year.
Business was thriving at this time and was the perfect opportunity to expand. After a few chats here and there, we decided that it would be a great opportunity for Lucy to join us as a part time dog walker.
She has been absolutely incredible since the day she started and we couldn’t have gotten to where we are today if it wasn’t for her! Hardworking, caring, knowledgable, confident, always ready to tackle a new challenge and with a true love for dogs, Lucy has proven herself a real asset to the team.
What Lucy had to say about joining Misty’s Adventures:
“I have a confession, I am just a little bit dog obsessed! All dogs, all breeds, all sizes, I love them all. I’m at my happiest when I’m with my dog Indiana Bones. He has the best temperament and lives in the moment. He can get a little too excited, jump up and pull like a train on his lead, which is a challenge because he’s a 35 kg lab! However this has given me experience with large breeds and pullers and I’ve learnt many techniques to deal with it in a calm, patient manner.
I get so many benefits from dog walking, including getting to meet so many fantastic dogs, with their own quirky personalities and being outside in nature while getting exercise. This is why I made the decision to take up dog walking part time.
I’m in the process of completing a dog walkers and sitters accreditation and plan to continue developing my knowledge and experience throughout my new career. I cannot wait to join such a fantastic team at Misty’s adventures and get out there and make lots of new doggy friends.”
Tasha
Dog Walker
Tasha also started off as a client before transitioning into the role of a part time Dog Walker in July 2024; a handful of months after the beginning of her collie, Shadow’s adventures with us.
The business was still flourishing and growing each month and Tasha just so happened to be interested in joining the team too! We both took a big chance on this new step , Tasha grasping the ropes and responsibilities while myself learning how to manage a team successfully.
It’s safe to say I’m so glad we did! Tasha has been phenomenal in her journey so far with excellent efforts, positive attitude, eagerness to learn and develop her capabilities while always prepared to offer a helping hand. She has become a very familiar face with our clients already and I’m excited to see what she can achieve during her time at Misty’s Adventures!

”Hi, my name is Tasha. I have a Border Collie named Shadow who keeps me busy with his playful and energetic nature. Shadow loves attention, playing fetch and is absolutely obsessed with his frisbee. His enthusiasm has encouraged me to get out and about which I really enjoy. I like staying active and spending time with animals, which is why I have decided to join the team. I also own five cats, each having their own unique personality and all love being fussed! Caring for my pets gives me a great sense of joy”
