What is a solo walk?

A solo walk is a 1-1 booking where only your pet(s) are taken out with the walker. They will specifically not be walked with any other dogs outside of your household.

Who solo walks are suitable for

Solo walks are ideal for dogs that are undergoing behaviour training, dogs that are fearful, anxious, aggressive or that may be easily stressed or overstimulated and need extra attention. These calmer walks are also best for slower paced dogs, whether that's due to injuries, old age, super sniffers or for the super young an inexperienced pups!

The benefits of solo walks

Solo walks offer a range of emotional, mental and physical benefits. They help to create a stronger bond and connection between dog and walker, with more quality time and minimal distractions. This makes for a perfect opportunity to work towards training goals and reinforce positive behaviours. Also allowing the dog(s) to walk and explore at their own pace, which helps with confidence building in a relaxed, safe and controlled environment.

What is a Group walk?

A group walk is when multiple dogs are walked together in a structured pack. This is a social walk with play, lots of exercise and stimulation from a variety of outdoor adventures in safe and controlled environments.

Who group walks are suitable for

Most dogs, as long as they are relatively social, well-behaved and have some basic leash training, can participate in pack walks. However, dogs with aggression, anxiety, fear issues, or health problems may need extra care and preparation before joining a group. Though this doesn't rule them out completely! With some desensitisation and exposure to social settings we can work towards pack walks if we believe they may be viable and beneficial down the line. Whether your dogs are shy, excitable, calm, submissive, boisterous or more, only once we are certain we understand your dog's behaviour and body language, we will begin their introduction to group walking. This means all new dogs we welcome MUST start with solo walks so they can be assessed, this is for the safety of the pack and our dog walkers.

The benefits of group walks

Group walks are a great way for dogs to learn the appropriate way to behave around other animals and in new areas. From learning to respect boundaries, providing great mental and physical stimulation resulting in a sense of fulfillment and improving overall health and well being. Pack walks can really help to build a dog's confidence outdoors and reduces the likelihood of developing fear and/or reactivity.

Drop-in visit

30 minutes - £12

No extra costs for additional pets per household

What is a drop-in visit?

A drop in visit is where we come to your home to care for your pet in their own environment while you're on holiday, at work or just away from home and unable to attend to their needs. Drop in visits can include feeding, letting out for toilet breaks, playtime, litter cleaning, medicating and much more. We offer these from 30 minutes to an hour or as long as necessary to fulfill the care requirements.

Who drop-in visits are suitable for

They're especially useful for pets that are shy, elderly, or have specific needs, and they can provide owners with peace of mind knowing their pets are being cared for in the comfort of their own home.

The benefits of drop-in visits

Home visits are a great way to maintain your pets routine while ensuring they are feeling safe and secure in their own home. Cats and small animals especially can suffer from extreme stress if temporarily being moved to a different location. Drop-in visits are a great way to minimise that risk to their mental well being while you are away. Dogs of all ages can also benefit from having a visit during the day to break up their time alone while you are at work.
This service is often flexible and can be tailored to your schedule. You can arrange visits for an entire duration of a holiday or on specific days needed if you are out for extended periods of time.

Overnight pet sit

What is an overnight pet sit?

Overnight pet sitting is a service where we look after your pets in the comfort of their own home. We stay at the client's house through the night for the duration you are away to ensure your house and pet(s) are safe and looked after. Refer to the pet sitting price sheet to see what package suits your pet's daytime needs.

Benefits of an overnight pet sitter

Overnight pet sits allow your animal(s) to remain in a comfortable and familiar environment and routine, massively reducing the risks of stress potentially caused by staying in a new and unknown territory. Animals in our care will be treated as our own during pet sits, and will be given daily opportunities to explore, have fun and build an amazing relationship with their sitter, making sure they have an incredible time while you're away!

Who overnight pet sits are suitable for

Overnight pet sits can be a great option for every and all households. Depending on your sitter, your needs and your pets own personal needs. Here at Misty's Adventures we work many hours in a day as dog walkers so this option will only be suitable for pets that are comfortable being home alone for set periods. If you need full day care, dog boarding may be a better option for you. Please refer to our price list for more information or send an enquiry.
